  • How do I get a life and health insurance license in Hawaii?

    1. Complete a pre-licensing study course. 2. Pass the Hawaii Life and Health Insurance Exam. 3. Submit fingerprints for a background check. 4. Apply for the license through the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) or the Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA).

  • How many questions are on the Hawaii life and health insurance exam?

    The combined Life and Health Insurance Exam in Hawaii consists of 150 multiple-choice questions, covering both general and state-specific content. You also have the option to take life and health exams separately, and the exams will contain 95 questions each.
